The printer uses a DLP projector to cure the resin. The projector shines UV light onto the resin to selectively harden it layer by layer. The light source is extremely precise, allowing for high resolution.
The print platform is submerged slightly into the resin tray. The projector cures a single layer of 50 microns. The platform then moves up incrementally as the next layer is cured. This process is repeated until the entire object is formed.
Parts are rinsed and cleaned in 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove excess resin left from the machine, then set in a dry box to release excess fumes before a final UV cure to ensure the final product is biocompatible.
Additional finishing steps such as sanding and painting and can be done on request depending on the end-use requirements
We take pride in the parts we produce so we conduct quality control inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and finish, ensuring correct tolerances are met in accordance to the Cad model.
We offer materials with different physical properties to suit your needs.
